The Witcher 2: From the Ground Up

What does a fledgling game developer with a golden opportunity to create a monster sequel to one of the most critically acclaimed RPG’s of all time do when they can’t find a satisfactory game engine to build it on?  Why, they develop their own!!  What does that mean exactly?  Much better visuals, much better gameplay, and yes . . . (perhaps) multiple platforms.  (Console RPGamers rejoice!!) Watch the CDProjekt developer diary below!! (I HIGHLY recommend watching in fullscreen and in HD) You can view that video, as well as the release trailer and a full in-game cutscene at the newly revamped, TheWitcher.com What you cannot view there, is this interview with the senior producer of CDProjekt Red Studio.
