Found out about this project from twitter . ” The Brood War Application Programming Interface (BWAPI) is a free and open source C++ framework for creating AI modules for Starcraft: Broodwar. Using BWAPI, programmers can retrieve information on players and individual units in Starcraft as well as issue a wide variety of commands to units, opening the doors for custom AIs with new micro and macro algorithms.” This is a screen shot of BWAI, an AI module created with BWAPI:   Video of BWAPI in action   In a nutshell, with BWAPI you can: Write competitive AIs for Starcraft: Broodwar by controlling individual units

New Korean TV show "Revenge" stars StarCraft Pro Gamers

There is a new TV show/series in Korea which stars Professional StarCraft players, the translated title has the word “Revenge” in it so it must be dealing with major rivalries in the eSports community From Gosugamers: The Korean StarCraft scene is in a great shape. It is very well known for many years now, and probably it will remain as it is or even get better in the future. If you don’t agree, we have something to prove you wrong – a brand new Korean TV-show with pro gamers playing the main roles

From the Dawn of Time until Now – SlayerS_`Boxer` & [NC]YellOw are Rivals for Eternity

Behind that overly epic title lies an homage to the two perhaps greatest legends of Starcraft, the Terran Emperor, SlayerS_`Boxer` and his constant arch rival, the King of Silver – [NC]YellOw. These two players were there at the very beginning, and they were integral in making Starcraft: Brood War into the sport and spectator entertainment that is today.
